Description
evoJet BOOSTER 90 - The Beast - Small, light and impressive. The ultimative power stuff for all fuel savers without loosing the jet flying-pleasure. Pound for pound, this is the smallest, lightest, most powerful motor in its class. BVM Bandit Arf, CompArf Flash, or Boomerang Elan, this is your turbine!
evoJet engines feature an electric starter motor (Japanese Sagami) and a brand new electric 12V kerosene burner (SFL12V) kero start system, the first in the industry! This provides full engine startup control from the R/C transmitter, without the missed starts due to the element not being hot enough. Also, no more dangerous propane gas needed. All evoJet turbines use a unique Single Fuel Line starting system. That's right, only ONE line goes from the pump/valves to the turbine. No need for a second fuel line or a propane line. Talk about simple!
All electronic processes are monitored by the JETRONIC-Vx Engine Control Unit, which constantly sets all the operating parameters to their optimum values. All of the auxiliary electrical components, i.e. fuel pump, kerosene igniter, starter, valve etc., are powered by a lightweight lithium-manganese battery, or a 4 cell A123 4S1P battery (optional).
The latest precision CNC and laser technologies are employed to obtain an unprecedented level of manufacturing precision, guaranteeing that your turbine will provide extremely high performance for a long and effective lifetime.
Every evoJet turbine also includes a display and pro-gramming unit (Engine Data Terminal) featuring an illuminated alpha-numeric LCD; it can be plugged in and disconnected when the engine is running, so that you can read the current operational data and adjust the settings if necessary.
In addition to the momentary operational data such as exhaust gas temperature (EGT), rotational speed (rpm) and thrust (Throttle), the unit is also able to display statistical data including total turbine running time, rotational speed, temperature statistics, number of starts, battery voltage, and even total turbine wheel revolutions, etc.
With all of the evoLogic technology stored ON the motor, you can swap an engine from one plane to another, in just 5 minutes, without having to move the ECU or fuel pump (extra installation kit needed).
There is a reason evoJet is the engine of choice for the German national team. |

- German automotive (SFL12V) - ceramic kerosene-burner for fully automatic engine startup with no propane gas and no separate start-tubing.
- Combustion chamber and turbine stage made of Inconel high-grade steel - to ensure fastest throttle response and the longest operation possible.
- Garrett Automotive Compressor wheel.
- Static resistant 5v microchip ECU (compared to other manufacturer's static failure-prone 3v systems).
- Aerospace-aluminium parts for lightest design combined with highest strength.
- Engine sensors (mil.spec.) are fully integrated and therefore best protected.
- Precision balanced rotor for the best running performance, spares the ceramic-hybrid bearings (abec9).
- Ball beared starter motor (Japanese Sagami) with neodym-magnets for quick engine startup.
- Mini-JETRONIC-Vx ECU - extra lightweight and with powerful firmware - reliable and over 5 years 'ripened'.
- All components are 'Made in Germany' with full 5 years evoJet-warranty.
